DESCRIPTION:Models of scale free random graphs are ubiquitous
in their application to network science. Such mode
ls encode information about interactions between p
airs of vertices\, but mechanisms that encode inte
ractions be- tween multiple vertices are less well
studied. In this context\, recently a number of a
uthors (such as Bianconi and Rahmede) have paid sp
ecial attention to random evolving simplicial comp
lexes as a suitable model. Motivated by this\, we
introduce general dynamical models of random simpl
icial complexes and derive a formula for the asymp
totic degree dis- tribution. This asymptotic formu
la generalises results for a number of existing mo
dels\, including random Apollonian networks and th
e weighted random recursive tree. Joint work with
Nikolaos Fountoulakis\, Cécile Mailler and Henning
Sulzbach.
