DESCRIPTION:Random matrix models is an efficient tool to study
the Anderson metal-insulator transition. In this
talk we focus on two such models: the power-law ba
nded random matrices and the ultrametric random ma
trices. Using the weak disorder virial expansion w
e show how the multifractal critical exponents can
be calculated analytically. Relations between dif
ferent critical exponents\, universality of the re
sults as well as some open problems are discussed.
