Stress-testing the Standard Model with Lattice QCDAdd to your list(s) Download to your calendar using vCal
If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Ian Kenyon. I will describe recent calculations using lattice QCD to determine meson masses, decay constants and weak and electromagnetic decay rates. These allow percent level tests of the Standard Model and accurate determination of quarks masses and the strong coupling constant. I will also discuss prospects for the future with STFC ’s new DiRAC High Performance Computing Facility. This talk is part of the Particle Physics Seminars series.
