Chi-b Analysis at ATLASAdd to your list(s) Download to your calendar using vCal
If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Ian Kenyon. The ATLAS collaboration recently reported the observation of a new bottomonium state, interpreted as the chi_b(3P) state(s), in radiative transitions to Y(1S) and Y(2S). In this seminar, the ATLAS analysis will be presented in detail and the confirmation of the new state by the D0 and LHCb experiments will be summarised. Recent theoretical work, prompted by this discovery, will be reviewed and the prospects for further measurements of this new state will also be discussed.
