EPS and opportunities in India

A discussion around research opportunities in India including how the University office in India can help us.

The India office is located in New Delhi. The office became operational in November 2008 and was officially launched in August 2009 when the VC led a senior delegation of staff from UoB to India. The office has two members of staff – Aprajita Kalra, Country Officer, and Jyotika Chhabra, Office administrator, who is an alumnus of Birmingham Business School.

The India Office works with international Relations to achieve the following key objectives:
  1. To create new and strengthen existing mutually beneficial partnerships and links with the education and research community in India
  2. To develop and strengthen links with business, industry, government and other public and private sector organizations
  3. To enhance links with UoB alumni in India and create a lifelong community
  4. To support and enhance the recruitment of students to UoB
  5. To raise the overall profile of UoB in India and further develop the UoB brand.
