If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr Dimitri M Gangardt. Advances in ultracold atomic experiments have led us to ask about thermodynamics at the nanoscale for closed quantum systems. I will discuss how a small Hubbard ring may appear locally thermalised. I will show results demonstrating that the approach to thermalisation may have two regimes. one of exponential decay and another showing Gaussian decay. I will present a generic model that can be solved This talk is part of the Theoretical Physics Seminars series. This talk is included in these lists:Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
