SUSY Monojets at LHCAdd to your list(s) Download to your calendar using vCal
If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Ian Kenyon. Supersymmetric monojets may be produced at the Large Hadron Collider by the process q g—> q chi + chi leading to a jet recoiling against missing transverse momentum. We examine the feasibility and utility of supersymmetric monojet signals. In particular, we discuss measuring the chi-squark-quark coupling via the rate. Knowledge of such a coupling would help bound dark matter direct detection cross-sections and the dark matter relic density of the chi. This talk is part of the Particle Physics Seminars series.
