If you have a question about this talk, please contact Anupam Das.

This will be an informal introductory talk on the basics of Brouwerian intuitionism. I will give a self-contained presentation of Brouwer’s bar thesis and fan theorem, and explain how the computational content of the bar thesis can be understood using effectful programs (as in Escardó’s technique of effectful forcing).

[NB: this will be a physical-only talk]

This talk is part of the Lab Lunch series.
