If you have a question about this talk, please contact Susana Gutierrez. This is based on a joint work with Angeliki Menegaki. We study the non-linear BGK equation which is an equation which is simpler, but similar to the Boltzmann equation and show the existence of steady states when this equation is posed with the x variable on an interval and boundary conditions with different temperatures. We are also able to show some properties of the steady state. This talk is part of the Analysis seminar series. This talk is included in these lists:Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
