MC Seminar

The crystal structure of apatite is very flexible and a good starting point for many types of substitutional solid state chemistry. In this talk I will cover our work on substituted apatites as applies to medical implants, decarbonisation and (if time) remediation. It will also look at the road from fundamental “blue skies” research through to commercialisation.

This talk is part of the School of Chemistry Seminars series.
