If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jon Bennett. We consider maximal inequalities motivated by the pointwise convergence problem for the solution of the fractional Schrödinger equation along two distinct paths, a tangential curve and lines generated by a compact set. These are variants of Carleson’s problem, which has been actively studied. After exhibiting our current positive results, we also discuss new partial results for the sharpness of the maximal inequality in the latter case (associated with the path along a set of lines). The talk is based on joint work with Chu-hee Cho. This talk is part of the Analysis Seminar series. This talk is included in these lists:Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
