If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Ian Kenyon. Belle II at the energy-asymmetric e+e- SuperKEKB collider is the successor to the Belle experiment located in Tsukuba, Japan. The target luminosity of the machine is 6×1035 cm-2 s-1 and the Belle II experiment aims to record 50 ab-1 of data. With this data, Belle II will be able to measure CKM matrix elements with unprecedented precision, explore flavor physics with B and charmed mesons and tau leptons and search for new physics phenomena and dark matter. The presentation will give an overview of the Belle II experiment and detector, recent results of selected analyses and future prospects for physics at Belle II.
