If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr Hannah Price. Note the new time for Theory seminars this term We systematically study the dynamics of Floquet conformal field theories (CFTs) under generic SL(2) deformations, including the phase diagrams, energy and entanglement entropy evolutions and distributions. The effective Hamiltonians of the Floquet CFTs are obtained. For the effective Hamiltonian, we define the Casimir constant C, which characterizes the heating phase (C > 0), non-heating phase (C < 0) and the critical point (C = 0), respectively. All the field theory analysis can be checked numerically on a lattice model and they have perfect matchings. This talk is part of the Theoretical Physics Seminars series.
