Are exact solutions contrived or out of reach? Are you left contemplating the decisions you’ve made and the accuracy of your result? In a world of approximations what is a physicist to do? Well we’ve got the tool for you!

Exact diagonalization is a complementary technique to compare your results against! In these workshop/seminars we will learn how to represent lattice models numerically, diagonalize your Hamiltonian, and improve your results with the Lanczos algorithm. Bring your laptops, and your favourite coding language. You’re about to get your hands dirty.
