Quantum Cryptography and the Real World

Freya will be discussing what quantum cryptography is, whether we need to be worried about the ‘quantum threat’, how we are currently proposing to deal with this and whether these solutions will work. In particular she will be looking the one possible solution which includes a method of generating symmetric keys in existing communications infrastructure using naturally available resources.
