If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jack Saunders.

In this talk, I will mainly focus on introducing some background of Lie superalgebras, i.e. definitions, properties, etc. I will also give brief constructions of some typical types of Lie superalgebra. Then I will mention my research on centres of centralisers of nilpotent elements in Lie superalgebras and present the main theorem that I’ve tried to prove. This talk should be accessible even to people that have never heard about Lie algebras and Lie superalgebras before.

This talk is part of the Postgraduate Algebra Seminar series.
