If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jack Saunders.

In this talk, I will provide a relatively gentle introduction to group cohomology, why someone might care about it, how to work with it and present a few of the current known results in the area. The main focus of the talk will be background and should be accessible even to people that have never heard the word cohomology before.

This talk is part of the Postgraduate Algebra Seminar series.
