If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr Adrian Burden. If you plan to attend, please register via Eventbrite: https://techentrepreneurshipseminar.eventbrite.co.uk Back in June 1997, Eric was the founding Chief Technology Office of NanoMagnetics Ltd, set up to commercialise nanomaterials in high-density data storage. He soon became the company’s CEO and worked tirelessly with his team to bring novel magnetic materials to market. He later worked in a number of roles at another technology SME called Cambridge Display Technology, whilst also being the founding director of a tech startup called Apaclara Ltd. Presently, he is CEO of Endomag, where he leads this Cambridge-based company with the aim of bringing cancer care to everyone, everywhere, through a clinical platform that uses safe magnetic fields to power diagnostic and therapeutic devices. This talk will highlight some of the insights Eric has gained in founding and growing technology-based startups over the years. Light refreshments will be available after the seminar from about 1pm so that participants may network with each other and talk further with the speaker.
