Lars Brink will first talk about Alfred Nobel and his life and his inventions. Then about all the drama after his death when his legacy became known and how the Nobel Foundation was set up. Finally, Lars Brink describes the Nobel Prizes, how the committee works and how we implement the statutes set up by will and exemplify it with some Prizes and laureates.
