If you have a question about this talk, please contact Manjinder Kainth. We discuss a recent experimental paper that tests generalized hydrodynamic predictions on quenches in 1d Bose gases. By comparing conventional and generalized hydrodynamics to experiment in three different cases we see where each of the theories is valid.
