If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Ian Kenyon. Measurement of a non-zero permanent electric dipole moment (EDM) would be clear evidence of CP violating new physics. I will give an overview of current EDM experiments, including searches for atomic EDMs sensitive to CP violating nuclear forces, experiments using polar molecules sensitive to the EDM of the electron, and the status of efforts to improve the neutron EDM limit.
