I will define the notions of morphism of toposes mentioned in the title. I will motivate these notions from a combination of viewpoints of layer-cake philosophy of stuff, structures, and properties of Baez-Shulman and extensions of theories/contexts in my work with Steve Vickers.

I will recall a factorization system for bicategories due to Peter Johnstone. I will then give examples of two different factorization system for toposes: surjection-embedding and localic- hyperconnected factorization.
