Host: Dr Claudio Zito

Abstract: I studied to understand human and robotic intelligence from a perspective of dynamical systems. I have two issues in this presentation:

(a) Understanding human fetal development. An whole body musculoskeletal system simulation with low level nervous system in the first half of a pregnant, based on my Ph.D thesis from the University of Tokyo (b) Constructing robotic dynamical system within the robot, neural networks and environment. Robotic cognitive system with neural networks which are studied in Ogata laboratory in Waseda University. The research topics are related to the collaborative project with University of Birmingham and Waseda University in japan.

This talk is part of the Artificial Intelligence and Natural Computation seminars series.
