If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr Miguel Navarro-Cia. What are metamaterials from the perspective of today’s industrial and commercial applications? What can researchers really do with their breakthrough discoveries? What is it like to work in a tech start-up? Here is what we have learnt at Metaboards. About us: Metaboards is a quickly-growing spin-out from the University of Oxford. We develop metamaterial technology for consumer electronics and beyond. Our first commercial product is the technology enabling ubiquitous transfer of power and data across surfaces of any size or shape. Only one-year old, we have ensured strong financial backup and a significant IP portfolio. More information about us can be found here: http://metaboards.tech/ This talk is part of the Metamaterials Research Group Seminars series.
