Inaugural Seminars: On the invariance of white noise for the cubic fourth order NLS on the circle.

We will discuss the Cauchy problem for the cubic fourth order nonlinear Schrödinger(4NLS) equation on the circle from probabilistic points of view. By introducing a (random resonant) nonlinear decomposition, we prove almost sure local/global well-posedness of 4NLS with white noise as initial data, which is out of reach by a deterministic local theory.
