In this talk I’ll be discussing some of the recent work we have completed around supporting remote workers (people who stay away from home for extended periods for work purposes) in engaging with family life at a distance. I will highlight some of the successes (and failures) of technologies we designed and built as part of our bespoke design process, which sought to use technology probes as a means for critically reflecting on our patterns of living and working in the digital age.
