If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Andy Schofield. In this Research Tea, the Bridging the Gap project would like to introduce our initiatives for the next few months, and invite discussion and suggestions. Within the next few days, we will issue the call for application for the second round of ‘Bridging Fellowships’. These prestigious awards will allow staff to buy out up to 3 months of time from their school, in order to prepare, write and submit one or more substantial cross-disciplinary grant applications. BTG is also opening another call for travel awards, announcing workshops on ‘Computational Intelligence in Water Engineering and Hydroinformatics’ and ‘Computational Intelligence in Analysis of Energy Data’, and a research away day on ‘Multi-disciplinary Optimization’ in April.
