If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Ian Kenyon. I will introduce the ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk) upgrade as well as general CMOS sensor technology. After getting into the details of CMOS and its current use in High Energy Physics, I will highlight where ATLAS is attempting to tap into the potential of CMOS sensor technology and what the status of the projects is.
