If you have a question about this talk, please contact Sean McGee. I will present some multi-wavelength studies of galaxies in 0.8 deg2 of 850um observations over the UDS field from the SCUBA -2 Cosmology Legacy Survey. Firstly I will present some new results on the first complete optical/near-infrared redshift distribution of sub-millimetre galaxies, the most star-forming galaxies in the Universe. I will then describe a study of the dust and gas properties of a sample of 20,000 K < 24.0 galaxies at z > 1, as a function of their rest-frame colours. Finally, I will conclude with some brief highlights of the planned WEAVE -LOFAR survey, which is due to begin in 2018. This talk is part of the Astrophysics Talks Series series.
