BSN seminar hosted by Dr Etienne Baranoff The talk will describe the development of luminescent metal complexes towards biological imaging applications. Discussion will cover the design, synthesis and spectroscopic properties (including luminescence) of organometallic Au(I), Re(I) and Pt(II) complexes together with their cytotoxic characteristics and bioimaging capabilities.
