If you have a question about this talk, please contact Gurchetan Grewal. Nowadays, a great amount of Internet users (including individuals, companies and science institutes) prefer to store their data to remote clouds in order to get rid of troublesome local data management and maintenance. To protect the confidentiality of data from untrusted clouds, data owner may choose to leverage encryption technologies on the data. However, traditional encryption, to a large extent, limits the flexibility of cloud-based data sharing. This talk aims to introduce some research works on how to efficiently and expressively share encrypted cloud-based data. This talk is part of the Computer Security Seminars series.
