I present recent final results on the search for the bb-bar decay of the Standard Model Higgs boson performed by the ATLAS experiment using the full dataset recorded at the LHC in Run 1. The production process studied is associated (W/Z)H production. I will then present the prospects of the analysis for the upcoming Run 2 dataset. A brief review on using the same final state to search for non-Standard Model Higgs bosons will also be given.
