If you have a question about this talk, please contact José Cañizo. Joint Analysis / Applied Mathematics seminar We will discuss a way to obtain existence and uniqueness result pertaining to the solutions of semilinear elliptic partial differential equation of the type Lu + f(x,u,Du) = 0, in Ω ⊆ ℝn and u|∂Ω=0, where L is an elliptic operator of the type ∑|α|=2 aij ∂2 / ∂xi ∂xj, in a suitable Sobolev space. Here f is either a linear or a non-linear Lipschitz continuous function. This talk is part of the Analysis seminar series.
