If you have a question about this talk, please contact Alexandra Tzella. Note unusual time/day We perform the a posteriori error analysis of residual type of a transmission problem with sign changing coefficients. According to a result from Bonnet-Ben~Dhia et al, 2009 if the contrast is large enough, the continuous problem can be transformed into a coercive one. We show that a similar property holds for the discrete problem for any regular meshes, extending the framework from that paper. The reliability and efficiency of the proposed estimator will be shown and confirmed by some numerical tests. This talk is part of the Applied Mathematics Seminar Series series.
