If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Ian Kenyon. The production of the Λ and K0s hadrons at LHC were measured using weak decays to charged particles only. The ALICE detector’s tracking and particle identification capability allowed measurement of the spectra over a wide transverse momentum range (0.4 < pT < 12 GeV/c), and precise determination of the baryon-to-meson ratio Λ/K0s. Transverse momentum spectra and yields at mid-rapidity will be presented for 2.76 TeV Pb-Pb collisions as a function of centrality. The evolution of the ratio Λ/K0s will be compared with measurements in pp collisions at the LHC and in 200 GeV Au-Au collisions at RHIC , and to theoretical predictions.
