If you have a question about this talk, please contact Prof Ian Kenyon. Many new and interesting results in the area of charm quark physics were presented at the CHARM 2013 conference in Manchester. The main topics of discussion included charm hadron (exotic, charmonium and open) spectroscopy, charm hadron production, mixing and CP violation and rare decays from both experimental and theoretical perspectives. I will review the new and eye catching results and will try to convey the tone and direction of the discussion among delegates. The review will concentrate on the results that stimulated the most interest and discussion among the delegates but will also include a broad overview of all sessions.
