The Colloquium series is intended for all members of the School of Physics and Astronomy. Talks are pitched at the level of a physics graduate and designed to introduce non-specialists to topics of current active research across the discipline and beyond. Talks generally start at 4pm and last an hour with an open-ended discussion afterwards. Free tea, coffee and biscuits are served in the coffee lounge beforehand from 3:30pm
